Early Life and Education
Uri Dadush was born into a family of academics in Jerusalem, Israel.
He attended Seaford College in England before earning his bachelor's degree in economics and international relations and a master's degree in economics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Dadush later pursued a doctorate in economics at Harvard University.
Private Sector Leadership
Prior to joining the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Dadush held a series of positions in both public and private sector organizations.
From 1986 to 1992, he served as the Managing Director and President of Economist Intelligence Unit and Business International, subsidiaries of the Economist Group. Earlier, from 1982 to 1986, Dadush was Vice President for International Affairs at Data Resources Inc., now known as Global Insight.
