Narottama Das Thakur, alongwith Syamananda Prabhu and Srinivas Acharya, was one of the prominent 2nd generation Vaishnava Acharyas who followed after the disappearance of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, Nityananda Prabhu, Advaita Acharya and Gadadhar Pandit, etc.
