After a month-long trial of the man accused of running a racketeering enterprise and shooting Travis County Judge Julie Kocurek, both sides gave their closing arguments today.
Prosecutor Greg Sofer began his closing arguments Wednesday morning with a short video showing photos of Judge Julie Kocurek&#x;s car with a broken window and blood all over the seats &#x; along with a frantic call from her son, screaming that his mother had been shot.
Sofer followed that up by saying according to Onyeri&#x;s own testimony in the moments after the incident he was quote "elated." Just to recap, Onyeri has admitted to firing shots into Kocurek&#x;s vehicle but claims he didn&#x;t realize she was in the car until later.
